Leonardo's ECOS-E (Extended Communications System – Enhanced) networks are the result of our wide experience in design and deployment of digital radio networks, both cellular and simulcast, all over the world.
Part of a multi-mode solution for DMR, P25 Phase 1 and TETRA, ECOS E networks can range from single site to large cellular and simulcast networks. Simulcast can provide advantages in terms of coverage, especially in hard-to-cover areas.
The ECOS E DTA7000 is fully backward compatible with our ECOS D RBS 4000 equipment and supports mixed deployments for ease in scalability.

- 1 RU operating in VHF or UHF up to 110 watts
- The ECOS-E true multi-mode system can be configured as DMR and P25 Phase 1.
- System configurations for ECOS-E include multicast (cellular), simulcast or a hybrid combination of both.
- Embedded IP Gateway to interface with data servers
- Dual network cards for automatic redundancy
- All of the modes, configurations and architectures are achieved within the footprint of the radio base station. No external hardware or equipment is required.
